Jordan Tarr

Jordan founded Jordan\'s Jungle when he was 10 years old to provide stuffed animals to hospitalized kids. While many kids attitudes change when they hit the teens his attitude remains strong that everyone has an obligation to give something back to society. Now at almost 15 years old he continues to strive to build the charity and provide more donations to area hospitals. Since it\'s inception, Jordan\'s Jungle has provided over 5000 stuffed animals to area hospitals with approximately 2000 this past year. Jordan speaks to other kids in youth groups and school to not only promote his charity, but get other kids involved in whatever way works for them. He is stepping up his efforts this year by speaking to business owners and seeking corporate donations to ensure that Jordan\'s Jungle Inc (a 501(c)(3) charity) continues to grow. Jordan has distributed the stuffed animal friends directly to patients when allowed, and sees the impact they make. It keeps him motivated to continue his efforts. He is involved with all aspects of operation including promotion, solicitation of donations, ordering of animals and distribution to area hospitals.
